New planning tool for starting and running a business

Business.gov.au has launched a new business planning tool to help new and existing businesses create a tailored business plan. 

The tool enables you to evaluate a new business idea, set goals for the year ahead or keep an existing business on track. 

Users can create a tailored plan in 30-60 minutes. 

It adds to the suite of tools from business.gov.au, which help you with essential business functions such as:  

• Creating a marketing plan 
• Developing a business succession plan 
• Performing a SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats) analysis 
• Financial reporting and tracking, including balance sheets and cashflow statements
