Tool helps small businesses recover after cyber incident

The Australian Signals Directorate’s Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) has released a new tool to help businesses continue basic operations during or after a cyber incident.
Business Continuity in a Box helps businesses quickly and securely re-establish their critical business functions while restoring their compromised systems. It is designed for small and medium-sized businesses and includes step-by-step instructions to identify and set up an interim solution that best suits your business.
Business Continuity in a Box helps with 2 core business components:
- continuity of communications – assisting business establish basic communications functionality.
- continuity of applications – assisting business design and deploy an interim cloud solution for hosting core applications.
The tool, developed in collaboration with the US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, is for businesses that do not have a continuity plan but can be integrated into an existing Business Continuity Plan.
