Lara Rose remembers it was her birthday when, due to COVID health restrictions, she had to stand down 11 of her staff at Penrith Early Learning Centre in Sydney’s west.
It was particularly hard because Rose had spent so much time investing in her staff and supporting them, something she passionately believes in and credits with her success in turning around the failing business she took over in 2011.
