The Commission amplifies the voices of the more than 840,000 small businesses in NSW and advocates on their behalf on issues that impact their ability to do business.
We can speak on behalf of an individual small business or group of businesses to raise important matters with governments or larger businesses, such as instances of unfair treatment or burdensome red tape.
The Commissioner and office of the Commission also participate in many government and industry committees and forums to represent the interests of small business and ensure their needs are considered in policy making.
An important aspect of the Commission's advocacy work is listening to the views and experiences of individual small businesses to understand the key issues they face.
