The Commission conducts surveys, focus groups and other engagement activities to gauge the opinions of small businesses and understand their experiences.
The monthly Small Business Momentum Survey asks small businesses across the State about the challenges of doing business, how their business is performing, their confidence about the future and their awareness of and satisfaction with government support.
The surveys is conducted by Commission staff, not a third party, and responses provided by small businesses are treated confidentially.
The Business Insights Initiative (BII) is a stakeholder engagement program conducted by the Commission to gather insights and build an evidence base to better understand the issues affecting small business.
